In July 2025, Alex Janssen contributed a targeted documentation update to the vitejs/companies-using-vite repository by adding Bas Software to the list of companies adopting the Vite framework. This work focused on enhancing project visibility and credibility by providing a concrete, real-world example of Vite usage. Alex utilized Markdown to update the adopter list, anchoring the change to a specific commit for traceability. The contribution demonstrated attention to detail in documentation practices and addressed the need for up-to-date, accurate representation of Vite’s market adoption. The scope was limited to content updates, with no bug fixes or broader feature development involved.
