Worked on the Mellanox/ufm_sdk_3.0 repository to standardize Docker image tarball naming, focusing on automation and release traceability. Updated the docker_build.sh build script using shell scripting to change artifact extensions from .img.gz to .tgz, remove the 'container' suffix, and align tarball names with full image versions. This approach reduced manual renaming and minimized packaging errors, supporting compliance and smoother release processes. Leveraged skills in build scripting, Docker, and shell scripting to enforce consistent artifact naming conventions, which improved CI/CD automation and reduced the risk of mislabeled artifacts, ultimately streamlining the release workflow for the project.
