Worked on enhancing localization and user messaging consistency in the alephpiece/cherry-studio repository by implementing internationalization updates for the Switch Model feature. Focused on adding new locale messages and refining tooltip text within the MessageMenubar to ensure clear, consistent communication for users across multiple languages. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript within a React-based front end to align with project localization standards and improve accessibility for a global audience. The work improved the project’s readiness for future localization efforts and streamlined onboarding for translators, while maintaining code quality and traceability through explicit commit practices. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
