Worked on modernizing the storage backend for the sillsdev/silnlp repository by migrating object storage from AWS S3 to MinIO, updating configuration scripts and Dockerfile to support MinIO endpoints and credentials while maintaining core storage mounting. Addressed recurring container build failures by ensuring the package index is updated before installing packages, which improved the reliability of automated builds. Leveraged skills in cloud storage, containerization, and DevOps, using Shell scripting and Dockerfile to automate deployment processes. These efforts reduced external cloud dependencies, enhanced deployment resilience, and aligned the project with a private cloud strategy, supporting smoother future migrations and ongoing maintainability.
