Developed and delivered a Homebrew Cask for Feather Wallet version 2.8.1 in the lizongying/homebrew-cask repository, enabling streamlined installation and management of the application on macOS. The work involved defining comprehensive cask metadata, including download URLs, versioning, and macOS dependency specifications, to ensure reliable installation and updates through Homebrew Cask. Leveraging Ruby and expertise in package management, the implementation aligned with Homebrew Cask standards and facilitated consistent distribution. This contribution improved the onboarding experience for macOS users by standardizing packaging and reducing support friction, while also providing a clearer upgrade path and simplified management of application support files.
