Worked on the TanStack/router repository to enhance error handling in routing flows using TypeScript and front end development skills. Addressed a critical issue by updating the stringifyParams logic to catch errors and render an errorComponent, which prevented silent failures and improved both user and developer feedback. This approach introduced explicit error-handling patterns, increasing the reliability and maintainability of the router. By surfacing errors directly in the UI, the change reduced support overhead and made integrations more robust. The work focused on improving debuggability and ensuring that routing errors are visible and actionable, rather than being hidden from end-users and developers.
