Worked on automation-ready packaging and installer integrity within the vedantmgoyal9/winget-pkgs and zed-industries/winget-pkgs repositories, focusing on improving distribution workflow reliability. Developed DoScript-based packaging, introducing locale manifests and scripting support to enable automated packaging processes. Consolidated and updated SHA256 checksum verifications across multiple installers and manifests, enhancing installation integrity and aligning with security best practices. Leveraged YAML and scripting languages to implement these changes, ensuring consistent security controls across repositories. This work established a foundation for scalable automation in package management, streamlining workflows and supporting future automation initiatives while maintaining a strong emphasis on DevOps and security principles.
