During May 2025, work focused on establishing the foundational data model and CRUD operations for academic careers within the ahumadamob/springboot-calificaciones repository. Using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA, a reusable scaffolding pattern was implemented, including the Carrera entity, repository, service interface, service implementation, and REST controller. This approach enabled robust create, read, update, and delete functionality for managing academic career records, forming the basis for future enhancements such as search and analytics. The technical solution emphasized modularity and rapid feature delivery, ensuring that additional domain models can be integrated efficiently as the backend system evolves over time.
