Worked on the fluent/fluent-bit repository to streamline the onboarding and migration process for fleet usage by implementing automatic creation of a fleet configuration file during initial setup or transition. Developed logic in C to ensure that a fleet config file is always present, even when no fleet configuration is currently in use, thereby reducing setup friction and supporting smoother workflow transitions. Focused on configuration management and plugin development, the work enhanced the maintainability and clarity of the initialization path for fleet integration. This targeted feature addressed a specific gap in the setup process, improving future deployment workflows without introducing new bugs.
