Developed the Diagram Generation Backend Service for the ai4sd repository, enabling automated code-to-diagram generation through dedicated API and chat endpoints. The service was built using Node.js and Express.js, leveraging Docker for containerization to ensure reproducible deployments and seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines. By introducing this backend, the work established a foundation for automated architecture visualization, streamlining design reviews and reducing manual diagramming efforts. The implementation also laid the groundwork for future Gemini-powered diagram rendering and feature expansion. JavaScript and TypeScript were used throughout, with a focus on maintainability and scalability to support ongoing enhancements and team onboarding.
