During April 2025, Timberfang integrated Kryptor 4.1.1 into the nushell/winget-pkgs repository, delivering a new Winget package to streamline Windows distribution and installation. This work involved authoring YAML manifest files for the installer, locale, and version metadata, ensuring alignment with repository standards for consistent updates and metadata management. By packaging the x64 build as samuel-lucas6.kryptor, Timberfang automated a previously manual process, reducing onboarding friction for users and improving distribution reliability. The project demonstrated proficiency in package management and YAML, with a focused scope that addressed a specific distribution challenge and delivered a maintainable, standards-compliant solution.
