During January 2025, Time4relax focused on enhancing the gravity-ui/uikit repository by standardizing the Menu component’s spacing system. They introduced CSS variables to manage padding and margins across all menu sizes, centralizing spacing definitions in SCSS to improve maintainability and simplify future design updates. This approach ensured consistent theming and UI component behavior throughout the library. Time4relax also updated visual regression test snapshots in TypeScript to accurately reflect the new spacing, supporting reliable UI consistency checks. The work addressed a core aspect of frontend development, delivering a single feature with depth and attention to maintainable, scalable design systems.
