During April 2026, contributed to the rucio/documentation repository by developing an automatic theme synchronization feature that aligns the documentation’s appearance with the user’s system or browser preference. This work focused on implementing cross-framework compatibility between Docusaurus and MkDocs-Material, ensuring that the documentation automatically toggles between light and dark modes based on the prefers-color-scheme setting. The solution was engineered using JavaScript and YAML, leveraging front end development skills to enhance readability and reduce manual configuration for users. The feature addressed the need for consistent theming across documentation platforms, streamlining the user experience without requiring additional user intervention or customization.
