Developed and delivered a new Homebrew formula for cargo-features-manager, a TUI CLI tool designed to centralize and streamline the management of Rust project dependencies’ features. This work, contributed to the gittools-bot/homebrew-core repository, included implementing installation steps and a comprehensive test to validate behavior across multiple Rust toolchains. Using Ruby and CLI development skills, the formula was engineered to enhance reproducibility and reliability within CI/CD workflows. By automating feature-flag handling and ensuring compatibility, the solution improved onboarding for Rust projects and strengthened tooling coverage in the Homebrew ecosystem, addressing both developer efficiency and project maintainability requirements.
