Joakim Bajoul-Kakaei focused on improving repository governance in the snyk/broker project by updating the CODEOWNERS file to align code review routing with the appropriate team. By shifting ownership from @snyk/hybrid to @snyk/access, Joakim streamlined the review and issue triage process, reducing misrouted requests and clarifying accountability. This work involved Git-based configuration management and close collaboration with DevOps stakeholders to ensure seamless adoption. Although the scope was limited to process and ownership improvements rather than feature development, Joakim demonstrated a strong grasp of code ownership management and repository best practices, contributing to more efficient cross-team workflows and maintenance.
