Worked on the go-vikunja/vikunja repository to enhance the desktop application's user experience and reliability across different environments. Focused on improving desktop zoom and UI scaling, implemented persistent zoom functionality using keyboard and mouse controls, with settings saved and restored automatically. Simplified the zoom logic by removing redundant manual clamping, relying on Chromium’s built-in limits for consistency. Addressed stability issues on KDE Plasma 6 Wayland by rebuilding the tray menu in place, ensuring the tray icon and menu interactions remained functional after updates. Utilized Electron, JavaScript, and Node.js to deliver these targeted improvements in usability, accessibility, and cross-platform support.
