Tom Forni contributed to the hmcts/rd-caseworker-ref-api repository by delivering new skill data for CCMC/CMC Management and Multi Track Trial Management, updating the SKILL table to support additional service IDs. He approached the work through backend development and database management using Java and SQL, ensuring that the data-layer changes were cleanly committed and traceable. Tom also updated functional tests to maintain coverage and reflect the new service skill IDs, validating all changes through continuous integration with no regressions. His work focused on extending the system’s capabilities while maintaining stability, demonstrating a methodical approach to backend feature delivery and testing.
