Tom Whittington enhanced the DFE-Digital/check-an-early-years-qualification repository by expanding the Playwright smoke test suite to include back button navigation assertions. Focusing on end-to-end testing with JavaScript and TypeScript, Tom targeted the smoke-tests.spec.ts path to verify that navigation flows correctly return users to previous pages. This addition improved the reliability of automated tests and enabled earlier detection of navigation regressions, directly supporting smoother release cycles.
