During March 2025, Chenyang Tong enhanced test traceability in the AlaudaDevops/helm-chart-sonarqube repository by implementing Allure test case ID tagging. Using Behavior-Driven Development and Gherkin, Chenyang introduced a mechanism to prepend Allure case ID labels to test tags, enabling direct mapping of test results to specific test cases in Allure reports. This non-invasive approach preserved existing test logic and maintained CI stability, minimizing risk of flakiness or failures. The work improved test analytics and reporting for QA and product stakeholders, laying the foundation for more granular root-cause analysis and streamlined test management within automated pipelines. No bugs were reported.
