Worked on the AlaudaDevops/helm-chart-sonarqube repository to enhance test traceability by implementing Allure test case ID tagging within the project’s automated test suite. Leveraging Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles and Gherkin for test definitions, the approach involved prepending Allure-specific case ID labels to test tags without altering existing test logic. This non-invasive update preserved CI stability while enabling direct mapping of test results to individual test case IDs, improving reporting for QA and product stakeholders. The work established a foundation for more granular test analytics and streamlined root-cause analysis, supporting ongoing improvements in test automation and quality assurance processes.
