Developed two core desktop applications for the Michaelkelly71/Acity_CPP_Project repository over a two-month period, focusing on robust feature delivery using Java, Swing, and object-oriented programming principles. Built a GPA Calculator with a graphical user interface that enables users to input student details, grades, and course credits, while implementing file I/O for persistent record storage and retrieval. Subsequently, delivered an Expense Tracker application featuring expense categorization, monthly and yearly views, and data persistence through file operations. Prioritized establishing clean project foundations and scalable architecture, with an emphasis on GUI development and data management, while deferring bug fixes to future iterations.
