Over a two-month period, contributed to srid/nixpkgs by expanding the SurrealDB Nix module to support SurrealDB v2 and integrating new storage backends such as rocksdb and surrealkv. Focused on DevOps and system configuration, the work improved deployment flexibility by refining flag handling and laying the foundation for future upgrades. Later, addressed data integrity in nix-community/NUR by correcting the ToyVo repository URL within repos.json, ensuring accurate external dependencies and reducing build errors. Utilized JSON and Nix to manage configuration changes, emphasizing repository management and traceable, isolated commits that enhance reliability for downstream processes and automated tooling.
