Worked on enhancing the accuracy of analytics in the hasadna/open-bus-map-search repository by addressing a bug that previously allowed future rides to skew gaps and statistics calculations. Refactored the gaps metric computation to ensure only past and present rides contribute to historical analytics, resulting in more reliable dashboards and business insights. Utilized frontend development skills with React and TypeScript, focusing on clean, maintainable code and thorough documentation to support future maintenance. The work improved the reliability of planning and capacity reports, providing stakeholders with trustworthy data for decision-making while maintaining a high standard of code quality and clarity.
