During November 2024, Vanga Orth developed a detailed sequence diagram for the pagopa/io-messages repository, focusing on the message list reload flow within the io-app. Using PlantUML and leveraging skills in diagramming and documentation, Vanga mapped out the interactions between PagerViewContainer, MessageList, Redux, and the backend API from initial render through API calls and state updates. This visualization clarified the movement of data and the sequence of frontend and backend operations, directly supporting clearer design decisions and maintainability. The resulting documentation improved onboarding for new team members and facilitated more efficient design reviews by providing a concrete technical reference.
