This approach enabled smoother downstream deployments, faster upgrade cycles, and lowered maintenance costs by simplifying ongoing maintenance and upgrades. The work emphasized Debian packaging best practices, dependency management, and licensing compliance, ensuring that the packaging closely matched upstream standards. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on packaging automation and process improvement.
