Worked on the GeoNature repository to deliver targeted backend enhancements in the Synthesis module, focusing on data relevance and user experience. Addressed a bug in the bdc_status filter logic under blurring permissions, ensuring accurate filtering and compliance with data governance requirements. Developed a feature to optimize observation ordering, prioritizing the most recently dated entries to streamline analyst workflows and improve decision-making. Leveraged Python and SQLAlchemy for database query optimization, employing SQL/CTE debugging and permission-aware data handling. The work was delivered through focused, traceable commits, resulting in more reliable synthesis results and reduced time-to-insight for end users.
