Worked on upgrading the system-upgrade-controller within the alfi0812/test-cluster repository, focusing on aligning the cluster’s upgrade tooling with the latest stable release. The approach involved updating the controller’s image to version v0.15.0 and revising the Helm release digest to ensure deployments consistently use the most current and secure version. Leveraging DevOps practices and Kubernetes expertise, the work emphasized operational reliability by validating the deployment process and reducing risks associated with cluster upgrades. The implementation, primarily using yaml for configuration, improved the upgrade workflow’s consistency and security posture, supporting smoother and more predictable cluster maintenance in production environments.
