Worked on the hackolade/DeltaLake repository to enhance the robustness of table property handling in the forward engineering process. Focused on backend development using JavaScript, the work involved refining the logic to ensure that only table properties with both defined keys and values are included in generated clauses. After tightening these rules, the approach was reverted to the original logic to address issues with undefined values, restoring stable and predictable behavior. This database engineering effort reduced the risk of incomplete property clauses and downstream errors, resulting in more reliable code generation and improved maintainability for future development cycles.
