Worked on the Saghen/nixpkgs repository to improve packaging and build stability for the Ripes emulator, focusing on cross-platform reliability and maintainability. Reorganized the Ripes package from a generic applications directory to a by-name structure, updated dependencies to Qt6, and refined package invocation to enhance discoverability for both users and maintainers. Addressed macOS build issues by removing vendored cereal code and adopting the system cereal library, updating include paths to ensure compatibility. Leveraged skills in Nix configuration, build system management, and package management, resulting in a more robust, maintainable, and accessible packaging workflow for the Nix ecosystem.
