During November 2024, Guivaya developed telemetry instrumentation for SKU-protected features in the mattermost/docs repository, focusing on enhancing product analytics and strategy. By leveraging RST and documentation skills, Guivaya implemented event tracking for Custom Groups, Read-Only Channels, Shared Workspaces, and Guest Accounts, enabling the capture of detailed user interaction data. This approach provided actionable insights into feature usage and engagement, supporting data-driven decisions for product and SKU prioritization. The work was delivered as a single feature addition, with no bugs reported, reflecting a focused and well-executed contribution that deepened the repository’s ability to inform roadmap and business strategy decisions.
