Worked on security hardening and stability improvements across several open source repositories, including cakephp/cakephp, pimcore/pimcore, and projectdiscovery/nuclei. Addressed PHP object injection risks by introducing allowed class restrictions during unserialization, and enhanced CI/CD reliability in libsdl-org/libavif by pinning GitHub Actions workflows to immutable commit SHAs. Fixed runtime panics in Go-based network scanning and resolved a null pointer crash in protocolbuffers/protobuf’s C++ code. Leveraged skills in backend development, security best practices, and dependency management, using languages such as PHP, Go, and C++. The work reduced attack surfaces, improved operational predictability, and delivered more deterministic builds.
