During November 2024, Xzha developed an automated release component for the openshift/release-tests repository, focusing on improving release lifecycle management and catalog governance. Leveraging Backstage and YAML, Xzha integrated the OpenShift Automatic Release (OAR) tool, enabling automated interactions across Errata, Jira, Google Docs, Slack, and Jenkins to streamline release processes. The work included refining configuration management by correcting catalog ownership and metadata, ensuring accurate project ownership and reducing onboarding friction. This targeted approach addressed both automation and governance, resulting in a more maintainable and transparent release workflow. The depth of work reflects strong DevOps and configuration management skills.
