Worked on the MaiM-with-u/MaiBot repository to deliver a configuration-driven tuning feature for the Willing plugin, replacing a hardcoded down-frequency rate with a configurable parameter. Leveraging Python and backend development skills, introduced config.down_frequency_rate to support both classical and custom plugin modes, allowing dynamic adjustment without code changes. Addressed a configuration reference bug to ensure runtime settings load correctly, improving deployment safety and user experience through more accurate rate control. Focused on configuration management, the work enhanced maintainability and flexibility for future iterations, enabling faster tuning and safer deployments while supporting cross-mode configurability within the plugin’s architecture.
March 2025: Delivered config-driven tuning for MaiBot's Willing plugin by introducing config.down_frequency_rate (replacing hardcoded 3.5) and enabling support in both classical and custom modes. Resolved a configuration-reference bug (commit dbcfe512a46781cc8daf795a6766854dec1a4bfc) to ensure settings load correctly. Impact: faster tuning, safer deployments, and improved user experience through more accurate rate control.
