During March 2025, Angus Huang enhanced the HuanzhiMao/gorilla repository by integrating the ToolACE-2-8B model into the Berkeley Function Call Leaderboard. He updated project documentation in Markdown, including CHANGELOG.md and SUPPORTED_MODELS.md, to accurately reflect the new model addition. Using Python, Angus configured the model’s metadata and handler mappings within the bfcl directory, ensuring seamless integration and enabling comprehensive end-to-end evaluation of ToolACE-2-8B. This work expanded the leaderboard’s benchmarking capabilities and maintained clear documentation. The contribution demonstrated focused application of configuration, leaderboard management, and model integration skills, delivering a well-scoped feature with careful attention to technical detail.
