Worked on the mcndl13/SOEN-390-Mini-Capstone repository, focusing on refreshing project dependencies and metadata to enhance security, compatibility, and build reliability. Updated the package.json file using JavaScript and Node.js, aligning dependencies with the latest stable versions and ensuring seamless integration with existing build scripts. This technical approach addressed potential vulnerabilities and reduced technical debt, laying a stable foundation for future feature development. No bugs were fixed during this period, as the primary effort centered on infrastructure improvements. The work supported continuous integration processes and aimed to streamline future releases by maintaining up-to-date project configurations and reducing risk in production pipelines.
