Worked on the HackAtUCI/zothacks-site repository to deliver a dedicated Mentor Applications Section, enhancing the onboarding experience for prospective mentors. The implementation included a landing call-to-action, a new mentors route, and themed landing page styling, all built using React, Next.js, and SCSS. This update improved applicant flow and mentor visibility while supporting maintainable front-end development practices. Additionally, addressed repository hygiene by removing an unused aurora-background.png asset, reducing bloat and minimizing the risk of broken builds from stale files. The work demonstrated a focus on both user experience and codebase maintainability within a modern TypeScript and CSS-driven stack.
