Over a two-month period, contributed to the 51Degrees/pipeline-dotnet repository by designing and implementing the PropertyKeyedEngine, a backend component that accelerates profile ID lookups through property-value indexing. Leveraging C# and .NET, introduced a new indexing mechanism and supporting classes to enable fast, scalable data retrieval in profiling pipelines. The work included refactoring for improved abstraction, validation, and resource management, as well as enhancing extensibility for future development. By focusing on maintainability and performance, enabled property-based segmentation and reduced integration friction, ultimately improving data processing throughput and reliability for downstream services without introducing new bugs during this development cycle.
