Worked on the LightRAG repository to improve the stability and reliability of its knowledge graph pipeline by addressing a critical bug affecting instance referencing. Focused on Python-based bug fixing and code refactoring, the work involved standardizing the knowledge_graph_inst reference throughout multiple function calls and definitions, correcting a persistent typo that previously led to incorrect entity and relationship extraction. By resolving these underlying issues in graph storage interaction, the changes enhanced data integrity and reduced downstream misbehavior. All modifications were thoroughly applied and verified through targeted commits, demonstrating a methodical approach to maintaining robust Python code and ensuring accurate knowledge graph operations.
