During October 2024, Shubhamsaboo focused on enhancing the stability and reliability of the LightRAG repository by addressing a critical bug in the knowledge graph pipeline. Shubham identified and corrected a persistent typo in the knowledge_graph_inst reference, standardizing its usage across multiple function calls and definitions. This Python-based bug fix improved the accuracy of entity and relationship extraction, resolving issues in graph storage interaction and reducing downstream misbehavior. Through careful refactoring and targeted code changes, Shubham elevated data integrity within the system. The work demonstrated strong skills in Python, bug fixing, and code refactoring, contributing to a more robust codebase.
