Worked on deployment and security alignment across kubescape/helm-charts and armosec/system-tests repositories, focusing on configuration management and DevOps best practices. Upgraded the Kubescape Operator Helm chart to version 1.28.2, removing explicit readOnly: false settings from volume mounts in values.yaml to rely on Kubernetes and Helm defaults, which streamlines maintenance and reduces configuration drift. Updated Kubescape test policies to match the latest CIS benchmark version, ensuring ongoing compliance with security standards. Used Python and yaml to implement and test these changes, emphasizing maintainability and reliability while improving traceability between deployment artifacts and automated security testing workflows across both repositories.
