Worked on the intel/media-driver repository to deliver a targeted encoding optimization feature for video conferencing scenarios. Focused on implementing Video Conferencing CAE Tuning, the work involved adjusting encoder parameters dynamically based on specific usage profiles and rate control methods. This approach aimed to improve bandwidth efficiency and visual quality for conferencing workloads by tailoring encoding behavior to real-world application needs. The feature was delivered as a single, traceable commit, streamlining quality assurance and review processes. Leveraged C++ for development, applying skills in performance tuning and video encoding to address the unique requirements of video conferencing within the media-driver codebase.
