Worked on refining package management in the AOSC-Dev/aosc-os-abbs repository, focusing on optimizing the man-db packaging process. The main contribution involved moving the elinks browser from core dependencies to recommended packages, which reduced the installation footprint while preserving optional HTML man page viewing for users. This adjustment improved distribution hygiene and maintainability by minimizing unnecessary dependencies in the build system. The work was implemented using Shell scripting and build system configuration skills, with clear documentation and commit traceability. The approach maintained core functionality and user experience, demonstrating attention to efficient dependency management and thoughtful engineering within the packaging stack.
