Qian Zhao enhanced the data layer of the dataease/dataease repository by delivering comprehensive database schema documentation and comment improvements. Focusing on maintainability and clarity, Qian updated table and column definitions to better reflect current usage and intent, ensuring that documentation aligns closely with the actual schema. This work, implemented using SQL and leveraging skills in database management and schema design, aimed to streamline developer onboarding and foster cross-team understanding of the data model. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the depth of the documentation enhancements provided a foundation for more consistent and maintainable future development within the project.
