Worked on the ansible/metrics-utility repository to refine the continuous integration process by adjusting the CI workflow scope and updating the default branch to ‘devel’. Leveraging skills in CI/CD and GitHub Actions, implemented a YAML-based configuration that set VALIDATE_ALL_CODEBASE to false, ensuring automated validation focused only on relevant code changes. This targeted approach reduced unnecessary validation, accelerated pull request feedback, and optimized CI resource usage. The update aligned the validation process with the active development workflow, resulting in faster iterations and clearer development targets. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on process and pipeline improvements.
