In April 2025, Alexander Liu enabled production analytics for the icssc/AntAlmanac repository by integrating PostHog through environment configuration updates. He added the necessary VITE_PUBLIC_POSTHOG_HOST and VITE_PUBLIC_POSTHOG_KEY variables to the production YAML files, ensuring analytics data could be collected securely and reliably. This work leveraged his skills in CI/CD and DevOps, focusing on environment and configuration management to support observability in production. The change improved the product’s ability to monitor user behavior and inform data-driven decisions. While the scope was limited to a single feature, the implementation demonstrated careful deployment validation and clear version control traceability.
