Worked on the spacetelescope/catkit2 repository to improve build stability and data handling reliability, focusing on core C++ header file management. Addressed a compilation-time bug by adding the missing cstdint include to FitsFile.h, ensuring that fixed-width integer types such as uint64_t are properly defined across platforms. This technical approach reduced cross-platform build failures and contributed to smoother continuous integration and release processes. While no new user-facing features were introduced during this period, the work emphasized code quality, portability, and robust Fits I/O handling. Utilized C++ and header dependency management to enhance the maintainability and reliability of the codebase.
