Worked on enhancing the stability of database management in the powersync-js repository by addressing a bug related to database opening options. Focused on ensuring that only defined properties were included when opening the database, which prevented undefined or null values from unintentionally overriding the default database location. This technical approach improved compatibility with iOS App Groups and reduced the risk of misconfiguration for downstream applications. Utilized TypeScript and Node.js to implement the fix, emphasizing cross-platform reliability. The work contributed to more predictable database behavior, supporting developers in maintaining robust integrations without introducing new features during the period.
