During two months contributing to HGustavs/LenaSYS, Arvid Melin developed six features focused on scalable backend architecture and installation workflows. He built a unified POST communication framework for DuggaSys microservices, centralizing inter-service data handling in PHP and JavaScript to improve modularity and maintainability. Arvid also refactored course activation logic into a dedicated microservice and standardized documentation practices using Markdown, streamlining onboarding and dependency mapping. In May, he implemented local SSL certificate generation and HTTPS integration within the LenaSYS installer, enhancing security and deployment flexibility. His work demonstrated depth in microservices, API integration, and full stack development, with clear, auditable change management.

May 2025 LenaSYS development recap: Delivered HTTPS-ready installer with local SSL certificate generation, enhanced microservice architecture for reliability and scalability, and streamlined installer UI to improve the installation flow. Documented HTTPS deployment steps to enable quick adoption across environments.
