In home-assistant/brands, he established a consistent baseline for ThermoWorks branding by adding icon and logo assets, ensuring uniform visual representation across components. Later, in music-assistant/server, he implemented Ogg FLAC in-band metadata support for chained radio streams, developing Python-based logic to identify and extract FLAC metadata blocks within the audio pipeline. His work addressed metadata accuracy and stream reliability, enhancing compatibility for FLAC-based streams. Throughout both projects, Austin applied skills in Python programming, audio processing, and metadata handling, demonstrating depth in technical execution.
