February 2026: Delivered Calendar Localization and UX Enhancements for thunderbird/thunderbird-l10n, including localization updates for calendar prompts, improved attachment management messages, and enhanced recurrence rule UX. Completed migration work for PluralForm.sys.mjs (part 3) as part of Bug 1935334, setting a foundation for broader i18n coverage and smoother translations across locales.

In Oct 2025, delivered the Calendar Localization Fluent Migration (pa-IN) for thunderbird-l10n. Completed migration of remaining calendar.dtd strings to Fluent and added UI labels and tooltips for creating events and tasks, managing completed tasks, and displaying error details, significantly improving localization accuracy and user experience for the calendar feature. This work addresses Bug 1982637 and enhances UI consistency, accessibility, and maintainability across the pa-IN locale.

September 2025 focused on advancing localization quality for calendar features in Thunderbird for the pa-IN locale. Delivered a Fluent-based migration of calendar task strings from DTD, including new definitions for task filtering options and task details, improving translation consistency, UI accuracy, and maintainability. This work aligns with broader localization goals and enhances user experience for pa-IN users.

August 2025: Delivered Punjabi Fluent localization for calendar context menus in thunderbird/thunderbird-l10n as part of migrating the calendar UI to Fluent. Implemented Punjabi strings for actions (open, create, delete, cut, copy, paste) and added access keys to improve keyboard navigation. This work aligns with Bug 1982434 (part 1) and establishes the Fluent migration groundwork for calendar features.

January 2025 monthly summary for the mozilla-l10n/www-l10n repo. Focused on Punjabi localization improvements and accessibility updates for Mozilla.org (pa-IN). Consolidated updates across key sections, including new translations for about-m24.ftl, job-related phrases, and content areas, with added image alt-text to enhance accessibility. Deprecated outdated phrases to improve user experience and content relevance. No major bugs fixed this month beyond localization refinements. This work demonstrates end-to-end localization workflow, translation quality, and accessibility considerations, delivering measurable business value through more accurate, accessible content for Punjabi-speaking users.

December 2024: Punjabi localization expansion across core Mozilla.org pages and UI. Delivered Punjabi translations across home page content, navigation, cookie settings, consent banners, branding, footer, and related UI copy to enhance accessibility and consistency for pa-IN users. Also completed Punjabi localization for the PDF Editor feature and its related pages, including editor strings and related home/page references. Executed via Pontoon with 10 commits (8 on the core site, 2 on the PDF Editor).
