Worked on the Near-One/omni-bridge repository, delivering security-critical improvements and enhancing the developer experience for cross-chain token transfers. Addressed vulnerabilities in token transfer logic by enforcing account mutability and ownership checks, strengthening the correctness of the bridging process. Overhauled token metadata handling by shifting resolution to the token’s account information, supporting both embedded and third-party metadata, and introducing new error codes for metadata issues. Improved build stability and developer workflows by enabling default Cargo features and implementing a fallback PROGRAM_ID in build scripts. The work leveraged Rust, Solana smart contracts, and build system expertise to ensure robust, maintainable deployments.
