Worked on the Gopher-Industries/SecureShift repository to deliver a core scheduling enhancement focused on user availability management. Developed backend features using Express.js, MongoDB, and Node.js, implementing full CRUD operations for user availability and integrating shift filtering based on these constraints. This approach automated shift assignments and improved planning efficiency by reducing manual coordination, directly supporting product objectives. The work demonstrated a strong grasp of API design and data filtering, with clean, conventional commits that support future scalability. No major bugs were addressed during this period, and the focus remained on cohesive feature delivery and maintainable backend architecture within the project.
